Jose M. Eirin-Lopez, Ph.D.

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at Florida International University (Miami, FL). My lab is part of the Marine Sciences Program, the Institute of Water and Environment (InWE, a preeminent FIU Program), and the NSF CREST Center for Aquatic Chemistry and Environment at this Institution. In 2007 I got my first independent faculty position at the University of A Coruña (Spain), where I started the Environmental Epigenetics Lab. From that moment, my research goal has been focused to make fundamental contributions to the study of marine environmental epigenetics using molecular, ecological and toxicological approaches.
