Florida International University

Carly Travers, Undergraduate Volunteer

I joined the EELab in 2022 as an undergraduate volunteer. I am interested in environmental epigenetics and coral reef conservation. I will complete my B.S. in marine biology at Florida International University in Spring 2025. After graduating I hope to continue my studies in graduate school with a focus on the role of genetic and epigenetic mechanisms in coral responses and adaptation to stress and disease. I am interested in studying the role cellular memory plays in ocean conservation.
